Hi guys,

I am now starting my first water cooled build as it is something I have wanted to do for a while now but never really had the chance to do until now. Some of the parts I have had for a while and some have been donated.

The rig will consist of the following:

2 x OCZ Agility 3 60GB SSD's (raid 0) for OS-Win 7 HP
WD 500GB HDD games and storage
4 x Corsair SP120 Fans

Water cooling parts:

Rads: 2 x XSPC EX240
Pump: EK-DCP 4.0
Res: Bitspower 250 Tube (red) - this might be to big lol
Gpu block: EK-FC580 GTX+ Nickel/Plexi
Cpu block: EK supreme LTX Nickel/plexi
Fittings: Various EK 10/13mm compression
Tubing: Primoflex advance LRT Clear/UV blue 10/13mm

Will be getting the GTX ready for the wc block later so I will update with some photo's after all is done.

If anyone wants to throw some advise my way it will be appreciated.

oooh nice!! I am building in one of those cases atm!

my main piece of advice for that case is 90 degree fittings! omg it can be tight other wise!

look forward to seeing this progress :)

be patient

Will be, can't afford to blow it lol.

I have a few 90 and 45 degree fitting already, I have been looking at getting some rigid tubing so that could work out to be better I thinks but will have to wait and see how it goes.

Quick Update

So after the kids were in bed last night I had some time to waste so I thought that I would crack on the build, this time the GTX580 water block.

The waterblock that I am using is the EK-FC580 GTX+ Nickel/Plexi

Took me about 2 hrs to do as I didn't want to rush it a screw thing up, more updates to come as soon as I have some free time.

Good job so far dude, Kudos on taking your time plus you'll appreciate the outcome much more.

Cheers Wraithguard,

Before anyone notices the design on the blanket, yep it is a xmas one but the misses went nuts as I scratched the table so I have had to use it :(

be careful with the blanket, big conductor of static.

I have managed to borrow my neighbours anti static mat as he does some electrical work and is going on hols for a few weeks, so the blanket has gone back into the cupboard thankfully.

Quick Update:

CPU block, Ram and gfx installed and in the case ready

UPDATE!!!

Ok so it has been a while since i started my build but with various things happening in my life it went on hold.

A few things have changed spec wise:
GTX 580 is out - GTX 750 Ti is in,
OCZ psu out - Corsair CX600M in,
OCZ SSD's out - Samsung 840 EVO 120GB in,
NZXT Mesh fan controller in,

Also all the custom WC has gone and been replaced with the corsair H100

Whilst digging through my box of bits i found my Asus Xonar DX and an 1TB HDD (going to be used for plex server) so they go installed also.
