So i've 'Built' my first rig but i have a problem. with it being my first build im not to confident with my wiring. I've followed a few guides but when i boot up my pc to install the OS my screen remains blank. I haven't installed the MB OS as i was told it wasn't neccessary.

So in short, i've got everything plugged in, i boot the pc with the OS disk in the tray and nothing happens. Any advice for me?

Would the fact that i'm connecting it to my TV via HDMI effect the system?

Enclosed are some pictures of my sata ports (sorry about the quality)

The Red cable is my optical drive and the black ones are from my ssd and serial drive. Thanks guys!

Is the DVD drive set as the first boot drive?, Or do you mean the system is totally dead?, Hold Del and go into the Bio's then fine the priority boot order and set it to DVD/CD rom then second as SSD/HDD which ever you'll install the OS to.

Also make sure you bleed that water loop or you could kill your CPU and the pump.

Are both Ram modules in the same colour slots, Because if they are not you won't be running in Duel channel mode. Like black + black or Red + Red, They look like Red+Black from that poor photo..

The ram are in the same colour slots, im not sure what you mean by first boot slot? It's in the bottom slot Next to the two red Sata ports. The system turns on and my tv senses a connection but then Nothing is displayed on the screen, any advice?

Well no signal output then ? OR do the boot load screen ?, If not make sure you have all the connections plugged in, Sata ports mean nothing at this point if you're not getting a signal out, If everything seems to be plugged in, Then reseat the Graphics card and see if that helps try hold it up so the card is sat in and aligned correctly with the back plate.

How would I reset it? And no, no boot screen, just a black screen.

Cheers for the help by the way!

Just googled reseat, will try it now!

Also did you bleed the system, And how did you do it?, Explain what you did in detail because it's important so we can tell you whats the matter.

Unplug the power cable and just take the card out totally, Then plug the card back into the PCI-E and reconnect all the power cables try hold the card up while you screw the system in at 90Degree's one of the PCI-E's pins might not be connecting, Also reconnect the monitor cable to the system.

P.S if you leave the system for about 30 seconds does it Beep

I haven't got any speakers plugged in, my loop is watertight so I haven't bled it out, it beeps when I turn it on but not after any time no. The reseating hasn't had any effect on my rig

You didn't bleed the water cooling loop? Because if you haven't bled it you have prob cooked the CPU if no waters been flowing around the system, Or is it a Prefilled System from OCUK? or Other place, Or did you set the loop up yourself, Make sure you have the monitor set to the correct input also from grahpics card I.E. DVI or HDMI, If that does not work try reseating the memory and anything else you can.

Can you check and make sure the CPU power plug i plugged in correctly also, Often that causes the problem..

Best thing todo to check a PC over is just recheck every connection, Even replug everything back in (Rebuild it) Sometimes it just does the trick, So far you're looking at a DOA Grahpics card.. But it might just be a wrong connection some where!.

Ok guys, I haddnt installed the ram properly, im installing windows as we speak, thank you all for the speedy replys! Thank you, I'm sure I'll be back at some point!

Check your motherboard instruction manual and make sure the front panel is connected properly. If it is try find the clear c-mos switch and press that for 5 seconds then turn on power again.
