Hey everyone!
I am new to building and looking to share my creations and am hoping to learn a great deal. I have been researching parts using pcpartpicker and newegg for several months. I have a build set to make in the $1900-2100 range with internship money over the summer. I have a question i'd like to ask initially if anyone knows off the top of their heads...
If I have to wait until the end of this summer will there be any upgrades to higher priced gear (GPU, mobo, CPU) that I should wait for? Do they upgrade in the winter/holiday quarter? Since i'm fairly new I haven't experienced buying something and having it drop in price a day later
That being said I am pursuing a major in Info Tech and Admin Management with a specialty in Network Administration. I realized that I want a work from home computer with Windows and I already hate switching between Windows with bootcamp on my Macbook Pro. I will want to modestly overclock my CPU (20-25%) but would like to know more about it in case I decide to clock higher in the future. If anyone wants to see my build I will gladly post it.
