Everything sounds nice, apart from the red LED strip. it will look much better if you just keep it white. other then that i will be interested in seeing how it turns out.

Nice choice of parts but +1 with Chewythefirst stick to just the white LEDs red & white together will be to much and the lights will bleach out in a pink hue.

Drop town to the RM850, unless your talking Tri-SLI and get the Corsair PSU cables, even if they are hidden it will still be neater and easier to do a beautiful job. If it was that you were worried the power cables wouldn't match the IO/SATA/fans...I personally would contrast them and make it white and black or white and red. All alchemy's would look good from the front but it's not a pleasant experience in the back, I tried that once, then again but now I have learnt. Then again you could go all out custom.

The coherent motherboard, gpu's and memory wrapped up in a H440 sounds sweet though, I'm excited to see how it goes. Any reason behind going with the H110, I just think it looks a little dated beside the H105 and H100i, it's not exactly a league ahead in performance and 140mm fans are a bit thin on the ground.

Thanks for the feedback guys really appreciate it.

What i had planned with the leds was to have everything in the window under white light and i was going to have the red leds at the vents on the front not visible but so there would be a red glow coming from that area i had thought of putting a small shroud around then so the light will only go that direction not sure if it will work but worth a try :).
regarding the cables i was going with the corsair kit but on OCUK it said supported type psu were axi,ax but no rm but the again it i get the 860axi that will be job done anyway win win i seen Toms vid on the watts pulled from the plug the other week but that was for a single gpu and i just wanted to be sure as i would not be the best at calculating these things :(

Thanks again

That's it i hope you enjoyed it i forgot to take photo's of the other side of the case where the Psu and ssd cage is also the nest of wires i kept them as tidy as i could i will take those photo's soon.

Dust out.

Would have been better off with SP fans on the H100i, that PCIE cable needs sorting too ;)

I just wanted the red highlights showing in the case the front is covered with the panel would the airflow be much better with them? if so i will just buy a new set of sp's when i was build it i was thinking "Epic never had anything look as tidy" but when i put the front panel on build complete it stuck out like a sore thumb i will defo sort it and the front panel audio i may change that to a black cable the white sticks out too much going across.

Thanks Tom

I think Tom was saying, maybe you did understand, but take the two AF120's off the CPU cooler and put them on the front of the case where the standard black fans are purely for aesthetics. Then buy two more SP120's (the ones with fatter blades) for your CPU cooler in order to improve performance.

You will notice that the fans that came with your CPU cooler have less blades that are wider than all of your current red ones, that's because they are optimized for static pressure needed for radiators/dense obstructions. Those wide bladed fans are available with the red accent rings, they are called 'SP120's', you can get them in Quiet, Performance, Quiet PWM or Performance PWM variants. I would recommend either Performance PWM's or Quiets but consider you will need some form of PWM control if you get the PWM fans, such as the H100i itself, it depends if your aiming for a big overclock or not really, if it's just stock then Quiets sitting at 7v all day will be lovely.

It looks really good for a first tidy build though and it's extremely well co-ordinated. +1 ;)

Thanks JR23
I will have to post an image of the comp it replaced ;) big step up regarding tidiness :)
When i was buying the fans it didn't click with me that i had gotten the wrong fan i think the image put me off i saw the rings and said yea that's what i need even going over the list a few times before i clicked buy i didn't realize it ah well just ordered the sp's :) I wouldn't mind as much but for the fact that i've been watching Tom go on about them for so long and that was my intention :(

Lesson learned Double,Double check your parts list and don't rush into pressing the Buy button.

Lol I thought you had it semi-figured out and then derped, at least you didn't buy 6 AF120's in the first place so you have a nice big set of matched fans now.

What made you switch to the Air 540 from the H440? Just curious, I think it works pretty well though.

JR

I got all my parts from OCUK and the h440 was not in stock when i was ready to go and i could not wait any longer because the comp it replaced was having hissy fits every few minutes,So i had been looking at the 540 before and liked it so i went that way.
