I built a bunch of franken-computers in the past to run stuff like minecraft or G-mod which was great since I got the parts for free, but I felt it was time to get a real computer.
I've had this exact setup for about three months now.
Core i5-3570K @4.3Ghz
ASRock Extreme4 Z77
Cooler Master V8 Air Cooler
24GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 (@1866)
Dual XFX Radeon HD 7950's
Samsung 840 Pro 128GB w/ Windows 8
1TB Hiatachi
250GB Seagate (New 500GB Seagate going in soon)
OCZ ZT Series 750 Watt, single rail, fully modular Power Supply
I bought a laptop for school and some gaming on the go as well.
Core i7-3630QM 2.4Ghz with a 3.4GHz boost speed
8GB DDR3 1600
Nvidia GT 650m (Getting a second soon for SLI through Ultrabay)
1TB HDD w/ 16GB Caching SSD
1920x1080 15.6" screen
My station consists of 2 AOC e2351F 23" LED backlit monitors and one Packard Bell 23" LCD monitor.
There is an acer aspire that is rarely used with a core i5 430m @2.26GHz and 8GB RAM.
Lastly, there is a test station with a 15" something-something monitor that I use to test machines I'm piecing together
