First Personal Gaming Rig

Hey guys, I just finished building my first gaming rig yesterday, and I'm gonna throw down the specs and some images here to see what you guys think

I havn't had much money to spare, so what I could buy was limited (I still plan on getting a SSD and Corsair h80i or h100 sometimes in the future).

Specs:

i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz (planning on overclocking at somepoint)
8GB G.SKILL RipjawsX DDR3 RAM @ 2133MHz
MSI Z77A G43
XFX Radeon 7950
650W Cooler Master GX
BitFenix Shinobi Case
2 x 1TB HDD's

Peripherals (Had these for a year or so, except the headset):

Logitech G5 Mouse
Logitech G110 Keyboard
Plantronics GameCom 780
Toshiba 500GB External

Yeah, I plan to get round to it at some point. At the time I just wanted to focus on getting it built and making sure it worked. I'll probably get around to it tomorrow/Monday, and make it look a lot nicer and tidier

cmon cable management with that case is rather easy.
also get a decent cooler.

i have the same case and it took me less than 30 minutes to have my cables all nice and tidy its dead simple inside the shinobi it even comes with cable ties....

other than that not bad for your first rig

just noticed you have your gpu in the bottom pci:e lane you should move it up the bottom lane on the g43 is only a physical x4 slot... 2nd and top single channel are both x16...

yeah would definitely agree and i would assemble outside of the case first if you want to check whether it actually works

Yeah...cable management:huh: You need to sort that out mate.
As UkGokui said you need to swap your GPU to the first slot cus this is 16x slot, but also it seats next to PSU, and it doesn't have to much breathing room in my opinion.
Well, but for first build its not...that bad, of course I will be better if you spend more time a effort, it will look good.

... should still tidy it up sooner than later tho... pretty sure an Angel somewhere now is weeping... and a Weeping Angel is nothing to trifle with -_-
