First Liquid cooling

Hi all, after using a h100 and 100i , I want to build a custom water cooling build. I sold my 4 years old rig. I kept the 800D case and give it to my son and now I got a 900D , still in the box, got it yesterday, also I kept ,my plextor optical drives en hdd + ssd + ax1200i psu and my evga 780ti sc.
I am waiting to buy a z97 mobo ( asus or evga), intel devil's canyon cpu and Corsair 16Gb ddr3 2133 mhz memory.
For the cooling I search the net and was thinking about this setup, for the time be it will only cool the cpu, but in the future also the mobo and gpu and maybe a gpu sli setup.

Hardware Labs Black ICE Radiator SR1 360 - black
XSPC Raystorm CPU-cooler Intel - Acetal
XSPC tube 16/11 mm - transparent, 2m
XSPC Photon 270 Tube Reservoir
XSPC tube cutter
EK Water Blocks EK-D5 PWM Pump
EK Water Blocks EK-D5 X-TOP CSQ - White Acetal
6 x Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition
Mayhems Pastel, Ice White - 1000ml
Monsoon 16/11mm (ID 7/16 OD 5/8) Free Center Compression Fitting

I know its a overkill, but I like Quality and being future proof.
What you guys here think, is there something I could change that's in the same price tag and quality.
Just like to know. The cooling I am going to purchase next month.

Looks good. I dont know if push/pull will help much and it may be noisy unless you use a fan controller of some sort. You will have plenty of space for expansion. The only thing for me is consider if dyed coolant is worth the aggravation to you vs colored tubing (gunking up blocks, sedimentation, color degeneration) especially pastels. Do your reaserch but in the end it is up to you. Personally I like distilled water with additives vs clear coolant.

Thanks mate;), going to do a little more research in cooling liquid.

So took a look at some additives,I like this one ; MAYHEMS X1 Clear -250ml :cool:mixed with 1,75 liter Distilled water gives 2l MAYHEMS X1 clear protection fluid. For colour scheme , thinking about, white barbs and black compression fittings , so white-black. Yesterday I got my led lights from revoltec :) for lightning up the 900d inside. Got to clean up the room today, otherwise I never get the 900D unpacked:eek:, stripping a pc is fun, but you have to put the parts you keep some where. Almost every thing is lying now on the ground on some cotton cloths:o. The 900D is going to look monstrous big in my little pc room ( 2.50 x 3,60 meter), hahahaha. Damn I like searching for hardware on the net and read/watch reviews, so much fun.:D

I am a little confused about your description. Barbs are alternates to compression fittings as a way to attach tubing to blocks and radiators. Compression fittings come with their own barb. You can mix and match in a loop if you want but it is not tubing and you don't need both necessarily. Just wanted to be sure you don't order the wrong part.

Also be sure to mock up your setup so you can figure tube placement. Remember the 900d allows you to route tubing behind the motherboard tray for cleaner looks. Be sure to leak test everything for at least 24 hours with only the pump running before powering the motherboard and other components.
I like working with the 900d, it gives you a lot of options.
Good luck.

Sorry my bad English , I meant tubes not barbs. Thanks for letting me know. My English writing is not top, but I think you know what I mean. Build is with compression fittings 16/11 and tube 16/11. People think that it is easy to setup a cooling for the cpu with liquid cooling and they are right, when you just buy a AIO , but a custom loop, hell no , you have to do research and research, but I like it. It's one of the parts that I like in the hole system building process.
When I build a new system, I feel like a little child that's getting some candy.
