I think that is the case as I tested with the offset at default but changed the other settings. For an overclock of 4.2GHz it maxes at 1.32v 65-72C temperature spread, at 4.4GHz it goes up to 1.39v and two threads fail once it starts drawing just over 190W with temps at 78-86C and at 4.5GHz I get a BSOD.
Now will the 4.4GHz OC be ok for gaming given that they are never going to be putting every core at full load and 12 threads to get close to 190W or should I back it down to 4.3GHz?
