dont suggest asrock get asus or gigabyte instead

also why only 500gb? you can get a 2tb for good price now(check out overclockers.co.uk)

Looks good. While the ASRock board is great, the MSI Z77 GD65 is better and is the same price. Also, you may want to consider a GTX 670 instead of a 680 as the 670 is very close to the 680 when overclocked, but the 680 is still awesome so that one is your choice. Also, the Corsair PSU selected is good, but a TX or HX series PSU is more efficient. Another thing, i see your going to purchase a retail copy of Windows 7, don't do it. Buy an OEM version but make sure it's 64 bit, that should save you some money.

Oh, and that HDD seems wayyyy expensive for a 500GB, Sata-2 HDD. Dabs.com's prices seem to be quite high on certain products, so check out other sites like Aria, Scan and Overclockers.co.uk as well

I'd say switch the mobo for an Msi gd65 or asus p8z77 or a gigabyte z77x- ud3h and grabbing 1tb And No cpu cooler? I suggest the hyper 212 if your on a budget, if not i'd say a noctua or a bequiet cpu cooler.

ok got the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Motherboard and a WD Caviar Black 1.5 TB

forgot about the cooler, was thinking of the The Freezer i30

As for a cooler go for a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo, or an NZXT Havik 140 or Noctua NH-D14 if you can spend the extra wonga. BUT, (just realised the RAM you've selected is laptop ram, won't work!) make sure you RAM is low profile so it doesn't conflict with your heatsink. Something like Corsair Vengeance LP or Mushkin Blackline will be fine or something along those lines. I think the Mushkin Ridgeback also fit but don't quote me on that.

True, the GD65 is a great board, but it's just a GD55 board with 2 extra SATA ports.

I would suggest the GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H
