Hey everyone, I'm going to be putting together my first rig tonight kinda worried about breaking summit, so any advice and tips will be amazing thanks!

Hey everyone, I'm going to be putting together my first rig tonight kinda worried about breaking summit, so any advice and tips will be amazing thanks!

There's probably a dozen build tutorials on YouTube by here's a couple of mine;

- test bench the system first, of you don't have a test bench a motherboard box is fine

- about every 5 minutes touch something thats grounded wether that be the case or a lamp or something, it just removes the static charge

- if on carpet don't wear socks, wear rubber soled shoes

- be patient

Don't get nervous. Just relax and enjoy your building. It may seem daunting but go one step at a time. Double check every step making sure each component/lead/cable is fitted correctly and is secure. Take your time as it will cost you more time in the long run if you try to rush it. Have a cup of tea break!

If you're worried about breaking something if something doesn't seem to want to go into something else or you are trying to really force something then you know you are not doing it right. Don't force something. Take your time!!

Ohh and have a cup of tea!!!

cpu > socket
Dont rush and bend a pin.
Make your cables tidy, use cable ties etc.
Dont put your pcie power into your 8pin motherboard power inlet. > Clients comp had this the other day, lols.
