First Build, Need Advise

I am planning on building my first system soon and would like some advise. I have decided on most of the parts but any advice would be welcome, here is the list:

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming ATX LGA1150
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB 2.5" SSD
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 780 3GB
Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link TL-WDN3200 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0
Case: Corsair 750D ATX Full Tower
Power Supply: Corsair 760W ATX12V / EPS12V
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD Writer
Operating System : Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

I live in the US and I am planning on buying my parts during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. The main thing I am wondering is when are the best deals. Are they all week, just Friday, or Monday? Anyone who has ordered parts at this time or has followed the prices of parts for longer than I have please let me know. Thanks for the help guys.

Just out of curiosity, are you planning on getting the Brack Friday Bunduru? That will be lost on any non-South Parker xD

I think the build as is sounds very nice to be honest. Do you absolutely have to use wireless in your desktop? Have you considered Home Plugs?

Agreed with Remmy, don't use WiFi. Just run an ethernet cable or use powerline adaptors.
The PSU is a tad overkill, however if you bump it up to an AX860, you can easily upgrade to SLI in the future.

Unfortunately I have to use wireless, Home Plugs aren't an option.

What is a powerline adaptor? Also I thought I was using enough PSU for an SLI in the future any way, is it not good enough?

I would have personally thought that 750W would run two GTX780s, but I'm not certain. Look into that before you buy it if it is something you want to do later on.

When you're using your desktop, it's generally going to be in the same place for a long time, so putting in a bit of effort to get wired internet will be much better than using WiFi long term. How about simply routing an ethernet cable from the router, or is it too far away?

Make sure the 2 wall sockets you will be using are on the same RCD or what ever they call them, same circuit.

My thoughts...

Wireless is fine. Not a big deal. I use it because i don't really have any other choice but i never had a speed or stability problem from my tp link n600.


780 SLI consumes around 650 watts but easily can go far higher depending on OC and CPU OC. 850 watts would be needed or at least highly recommended.

IMO go for a 290 over a 780. Cheaper by about 100$ and performance is on par with most games.. I find they trade blows in just about half of all the games but that also depends on optimization for the game. 290 Xfire is also on par with 780 sli and still cheaper. Power consumption is slightly higher though.
