The R3 is meant to be better than the XL from the reviews I've read - the top fan is meant to struggle a bit as it is at an angle to the rear vent. Also most people on here don't rate the all in one water cooling kits like the H50. The problem is that they don't have enough liquid in them, so that over time it heats up and the cooling can suffer as a result. Plus the fans that come with them are meant to be pretty noisy... That's why you see most people go for the Noctua NH-D14.

yeah would defo go with high-end air over that H50 everything else looks ok to me I havent checked on the fractal cases so no comment there.

Ok thanks guys, will take your comments on board, though obviously ill ignore that last fanboy comment xD

well I am happy with my current card but far be it to say fanboy if AMD made better stuff I'd say it. But the 500 series have proven to be alot cooler and quieter than the current AMD offerings

Buy the D14. Better than the H50 and H70, and $10 cheaper than the H70 in Canada. Single best cooler on the market right now, air or all-in-one water. The only thing that I could imagine would beat the D14 would be custom water(kits included, ie XSPC Rasa) Not sure where you are though.

In the UK, I was thinking about water cooling at some point as I have seen very nice loops in fractals with a bit of dremel work but thats a long way off as ill be extremely poor after this
