Ok, so those of you that remember I was planning on a major system overhaul a little while ago. "Unexpected expenses" put that on hold until now. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to build this over time, piece by piece.
So, to start I selected the new Corsair Obsidian 350D. I mainly chose this case because I prefer mATX cases. When I saw that Corsair finally released an mATX case I was excited. When I saw it was a baby obsidian, I hit buy before I could blink. I'm very surprised by the work-space in this thing. Looked a little smaller on Newegg.
Anyway, I'll be starting a work log as soon as I get the new Asus GRYPHON Z87 mATX board in about a week or two. For now I just wanted to get some feedback on my first attempt at cable management in a case that was built for it. Would have preferred doing this for the first time with a modular PSU, but oh well. Time for pictures. (Note: the pictures kinda suck because I took them on a crappy camera phone but you should get the idea.)
Just a general look. Went with the non-window version for now. I might order a windowed panel from Corsair later when they offer them, but it will be a little while before I have the hardware I would want to show off and this was $20 cheaper so yea.
Kinda rough I know
