Unless that one goes *BOOM* aswell (*shudders*), I'm probably going to finish the build tonight. :'D

Great specs mate! Can't wait to see this finished!

Really love the white/black/orange colourscheme, it's amazing!

Good luck with finishing this build!

Gotta love Corsair's approach to psu packaging.

When my first ax850 turned up I was convinced it was something else cos it was so darn huge, til I opened it.

I actually preferred my HX750 packaging over my AX850. The HX had a velvet/suede bag over the PSU and a nice thick quality cardboard box with matte finish. My AX has a thin cover and a recycled grade box with a cheap tissue bag.

Not that this matters but if we're talking about packaging... the HX wins.

About the packaging: I already have one of those velvet bags from my TX750, so I don't mind..

This is it guys. I'm typing this message on KingPenguin, powered by a Corsair AX850. It seems the problem was indeed the PSU. (*knock on wood*)

Proper pictures will have to wait till tomorrow due to me not having a decent camera and the lighting being far from optimal, but here's a little teaser for ya!

Very, very nice rig mate. That orange Phanteks is gorgeous! The orange and white Alchemy's look fantastic too, awesome looking rig!

Btw are you gonna be posting some benches and OC's too?

Thank you! And yes, if that's what people would like to see then sure, why not.

I've already done some overclocking actually. I got 4.6 Ghz on 1.29v stable through half an hour of OCCT. It was late though, so I didn't try to push it any further.

For a 24/7 OC I just use OC Genie. Clocks it to 4.2 Ghz and uses like 1.18/1.20v or something. More than good enough for 24/7 use!

Congratulations with your finished rig! Looks amazing! And I don't hate you for putting the stickers in, it looks just fine to me!

Hey man your rig looks really nice I love the looks!

How is the Xonar DGX? I had a DS (even though I only have 5.1 speakers) but since it's not PCI-E I can't use it, so I got a second hand DX and it has some issues with it. So third time lucky I want to get a brand new DGX. But I wonder if I've been spoilt but a bit better quality from the DX lol.

Jealous of that cooler! (Though I'd get the blue version) my case isn't big enough for one

Thanks a lot guys! I'm currently enjoying its performance by playing games like BF3 on ultra with no lag whatsoever.

All I can tell you is that the Xonar DGX is definitely a step up from onboard audio. Especially if you use headphones like I do.

Unfortunately, I've never had a Xonar DS or DX, so I couldn't tell you how it performs compared.
