For a while now (about 2 months) my build has consisted of this:
Which for obvious reason was, how shall I say, sub-optimal.
What you see there is:
>An MSI Z68-GD80 motherboard (B3)
>An i7 2600K processor
>8 gigs of Corsair 1600mhz ram
>A Kingston 120 gig SSD
>1TB western digital intellipower hard drive for storage
>A 1000W OCZ 80plus gold psu
>And a Samsung bluray drive.
You may notice two rather key componants were missing, the graphics card and the case. Well, yesterday I got paid so guess what?
I fell in love with the white 600T the moment I saw it :3
First things first, power supply. Maybe a little overkill but I will probably want to SLI things up in the future.
Then came the task of transferring across the motherboard and everything attached to it (before anyone mentions it, I flipped the fan at the back of the case to make it an intake and give the CPU some cool air. Plus I couldn't be arsed to turn the cpu cooler around; that thing is a pain to install.).
120 gig SSD and 1TB western digital storage harddrive went in next.
Slapped in the bluray drive.
Then fitted the GPU and wired everything up.
The lighting in place
A shot of my piss poor attempt at cable management.
And finally everything in place and closed up
Any feedback/comments would be appreciated.
