Female sata connector (15 pin) for pump

Hi,

I was going to convert the molex to a fan header and run the pump from a mobo header, but the ampage is too high. So I wanted to grab a sata connector to power the pump from the psu.

I can only find male ones like this:

Am I missing something? I need a female version of that, surely?

Is it not possible for you to simply connect the pump's molex directly to the PSU? Or failing that, can you not buy a molex to SATA adapter, and braid the cables on it to make it pretty?

Yes, I could connect the molex but it is the only molex in the build, which would mean another psu cable just for this.

If you have a spare cable that uses one of the connectors you need, what about just removing its wires, and using that?
