fan splitter

Hi im using a antec cooler and the fan that came with it is noisy i was wondering if i got a noctua NF P12 1300 and i got a akasa ( http://www.maplin.co.uk/ultra-quiet-120mm-case-fan-45439?c=froogle&u=45439&t=module ) fan pushing air into the radiator and the noctua exhausting it and used a fan 3 pin to 2x 3 pin and plugged this into the motherboard cpu header would this allow me to control both fans and would they both be able to run at 100%, or would there power he halved.

the pump is connected to a power fan header which is always running 100%

finally would the akasa and the noctua be enough to cool this radiator i tried it with just the akasa fan and the temps went up by around 1 degree which was surprising.

2 fans shouldn't be a problem using a splitter.

3 fan splitters come with an extra molex input to provide the extra power like this.

Your akasa fan is a ball bearing fan. Ball bearing fans are the noisiest. They're even noisier than sleeve fans. So I don't understand why they call your Akasa fan "Ultra Quiet".

I noticed you have an asus board. Perhaps, the easiest thing to do is to connect two actually quiet fans to the motherboard and use asus fan xpert to control the rpms based on cpu temperature...and try to live with the noise when the cpu gets hot.

EDIT: I doubt your cooler will keep your cpu cool if it's running at v1.5, unless you're running your 12cm fast (1500-2000rpm) and/or your room is cool, regardless of the fans. Your noctua won't push enough air (it's a ~50cfm fan at most).

my cpu is at 1.47v cpuz says it wrong temps are around high 40ies low 50ish when on full load but it is a hot day.
