Hi all, I would consider myself relatively tech savvy but no expert, still learning. I have a coolermaster Hyper TX3 and I seem to be suffering overheating problems, I have reseated the heatsink (although still think the annoying quick pins as I like to call them might be broken), cleaned it, every trick in the book. I checked out my fan speed and my temperatures are perfectly stable and acceptable of 30C when idle with fan speed of about 700rpm then when I put on any games or anything my cpu temp can randomly spike which causes the pc to completely freeze up, the screen freezes and the sound loops so I have to manually turn off my computer. I checked my fan speeds and they do not increase as the load on my pc increases. I have a Gigabyte H55M-USB3 mobo and have tried adjusting fan speeds using Speedfan and the EasyTune6 software to which none have had any effect, in fact smart fan as it is called completely stops my fan and the "cpu fan fail" buzz is sounded. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
