Fan rubber screws

Hey guys,

Quick question, I know there are ton of so called "rubber screws" and "silicone rubber screws" for fans... are they really worth getting and use?, or is it better going with good old scews?...

I mean, will they really lower the vibrations/noise etc?... as I imagine, doing it to a 120mm is quite fair. Although, a 200mm fan for example, and running at full speed, that weight and momentum from the spinning fans, create quite a lot of vibrations.
Would you say they would be something "worth" getting or is it better of going with actual fan screws?.

Thanks

the fan itself will create more air noise than anything else dude

If you find a fan that vibrates it will be pretty bad quality if fitted correctly

Then why do they some fans really come with them and why is it so much made up about rubber screws?...

Rubber screws offer flex for vibration if a fan becomes slightly faulty and starts to vibrate, that's the only reason I can think if for rubber instead of metal... Well not the only reason but I think it will be a bit inappropriate here :D :D

So pretty much, rubber screws are pointless... just go with the traditional metal screws then?.

And yeah, I kinda get what you mean dude :p
