Fan Problems

Hi there guys,

So call me what you like, but for the life of me, I just cannot work out how to install fans into the top of the corsair 500R, 120mm fans that is....what corsiar recomends (Optional fans: Two 120 mm or 140 mm fans on the top panel,) <As found on the official corsiar video.... But how? and with what screws? I currently use cable ties to hold the fans in place.....I know there are some 500R owners here (or at least have used one).....

Any help would be really appriciated

Hi there mate, these are the screws you would need to install your fans, i don't have a corsair 500r myself but pretty much all cases would use these screws.

now that's something I've not seen before. I confused aswell now as to how to mount the 120mm fans. They should include screws with the case to make it easier for owners to fits fans. I'll keep searching the net to see if something comes up

It says that the grommets are there to dampen fan vibration so the link to the screws that i gave you should work but if another 500R owner on this forum can confirm it, it would make it 100% sure

Yeah, i saw that site too before... but i think the long screws are for screwing fans into the back of the HDD cage, and the H100.... but I'll give the alternate method a try... your probably right mind you..... cheers mate.... I'll let you know how i got on......
