Fan controller rewiring question

Hi guys,

I have an automatic fan controller with heat probes.

Say I want to control all the case fans off the graphics card temp.

Could I splice the temp prob wire across to the other case fans?

What do you reckon guys?

I tried doing that but it didn't work, tried to have all 6 channels on my fan controller feeding of 1 temp input. It was a big fail unfortunately. I think those temp probes are at a specific length and designed to work on one channel only. The only way you can do what you wish is tO get a fan controller that has only 1 temp input controlling all the fans or dePending on how many watts/channel your fan controller has put all the fans on one channel with the probe.

Bah that sucks, what happened out of interest?

I guess they are giving a resistance depending on temp...

Kind of wish I never bothered now with an auto one it's a pita.

This controller is too much of a pain to change fan speeds when I goto play a game, slow touch interface.
