Fan Contoller

Hi there, I got a new fan controller, The AeroCool V12XT. I am not sure where to put the temperature probes ? There is one for GPU, CPU, HDD and SYS. I know what they all mean but just not sure where abouts on the CPU and GPU I should put them.

Dont bother putting them anywhere, just causes cable clutter and they arent really accurate anyway. Stick one outside your case if you can for a room temperature, other than that they're pretty useless.
Download hardware monitor as that will be far more accurate anyway

i didn't fit the temp probes in my switch 810 either. good fan controller though not had any issues with mine.

What if I was to fit them without causing clutter and make it look clean ? I wouldn't mind spending a bit of time on the presentation

Yeh but they arent going to tell correct temperatures at all really. The only way you can make the cpu probe accurate would be by putting it between the cpu and the heatsink, which you obviously dont want to do as that'll only increase temperatures, and potentially even break something. They're just a bad idea IMO
Just cause you have them doesnt mean you have to use them.
