Fallout 4 won't have mod support until 2016 as "nobody care about mods if the game sucks" and are planning to open modding to all platforms.

It'll probably take that long or longer to fully complete it properly so I've got no issues with that

Edit honestly this news part of the forum becomes more and more like sodding Yahoo! every day.

Soooo payed for dlc mods then? you better not bethesda....

I'd doubt they would do this if they weren't planning on releasing cross platform support for mods. It'll probably be some awful gimped program that really limits creativity because muh consoles.

Then again, it seems to be quite a common thing to do these days. Not the worse thing in the world IMO.

no official tools wont stop the modding community any way. but honestly the only mods i ever used for fallout was iron sights mod for fall out 3 and they didnt really work properly any way, so im not that worried about it at all

The GECK didn't come out for ages last time either. People just grow more and more impatient by the day.
