But back top the topic, we can all agree that comparing a bad looking 7 year old game to a new game on the next gen of hardware isn't exactly a good comparison.

I will say this, you know all of the tricks, that's for sure. Don't tell me, when you upset somebody and they complain you say "You shouldn't have posted it in public on the internet" right?
Listen, mate. Let me teach you something.
Debating and arguing on the internet does not earn you any life experience. It does not go on your Résumé and make your chances of finding a decent job better, it does not score you hot chicks and doesn't make you money.
As such it's pretty pointless. Maybe by going around arguing with people you actually think you have achieved something but honestly, I promise you you absolutely haven't.
Take it from somebody who did it for ten years and now cringes at the mere thought of the arguments he once had, you're making a helmet of yourself.
No really, you'll just end up feeling like a complete belmet when you realise just how pointless arguing on the internet is.

About sums it up. All you need to be good at it is plenty of staying power, and good word per minute skills on a keyboard. And then you'll argue on, and on, and on, and on. It will either fizzle out or, you will find yourself resorting to insults.
And the reason why? there is no winning dude. As I said, you don't get qualifications in it.

It doesn't really end though does it? it's infinite. Had I known that in 2001 I would never have even tried lol.
Now? if I do voice my opinion I just draw a line under it and walk. It's honestly impossible to voice an opinion on the internet without some one wanting to argue with you over it. Thing is, IRL that doesn't happen. IE you don't spend your life trying to explain things that you have said.
As I said before I just wish I knew then what I know now. I've literally wasted years of my life.
As the saying goes though, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.....

So true, I once said 30FPS was good maxed out at 4K, In a round about way, But anyone could have gotten it the first read through, I spent the next hour explaining to someone but he was quite obviously just looking to argue because "I didn't word it correctly".
Extremely sad how some people just love to pick and pick even when they understand perfectly and I've found that those people are usually the ones with either -
A. Not much if any female interaction because they look like a dented frying pan so they feel frustrated.
B. Are complete anoraks.
And this is also from experience with old school mates who are both of those and do exactly the above.

If it makes you feel better 30 FPS minimums are quite normal at 4k. I see it all of the time on my rig running two Titan Blacks.
Does it suck? no, I'm running Gsync. I would never even know if I didn't have FRAPS running.
To be honest? Fallout 4 can look as crap as it wants to. At least I will get 60 FPS with it all maxed out @ 4k.

Wouldnt mind it doesnt look bad though, they have just gone for a certai art style. Also arguing on the on the internet is like, going to a hotel to stay the night, taking a dump in your bed because your upset with the price, then realising you then have to sleep in that bed .

Objectively speaking (since I've never played a fallout game), the graphics don't look great by today's standards.
I'm sure the gameplay will be amazing judging by the enthusiasm shown by you guys. If the game's engaging regardless of how it looks, then we're onto a winner.
The title should probably be changed as it's bound to cause more than a few arguments/debates (as it already has).

This graphically looks slightly better than Skyrim which isn't saying much but Bethesda don't need to put in a lot of effort in this area because the fans will lap up anything they get given.
I'm not hating as I still play games like the original Duke Nukem 3D so graphics really don't matter to me THAT much but judging by what I've seen so far Bethesda need to put some more work into the graphics, It's 2015 not 2009.

As I have said, and not a single person has commented on bar the standard inane fan banter of it will be good "just cause", if it is using an old engine, then the game mechanics can't change either. You can't expect a car much if you keep an old engine in it, the same applies for games.

I'm 6 hours into Fallout 3 and to be honest I'm still not sold, Quite boring.
