I would find it demeaning to enter an argument about graphics being the most important part of a game.
He's clearly looking for an argument so I think should he continue the mods should step in.

Graphically it looks poo but I don't expect Crytek levels of graphics from Bethesda even in a next gen game, I know I know "It's all about the gameplay" but some shiny here and there wouldn't hurt ^_^

If you don't want to debate, then you shouldn't post.
I think people need to stop complaining about graphics. At the end of the day, the most important thing is gameplay, graphics just add to that. You can make the most beautiful game, but bad gameplay will ruin it. Knowing this is a Fallout game, I assume that people are going to love how it plays out regardless of how it looks. Also, lets be honest, it looks perfectly fine. Its not a masterpiece, but if thats what you want, go outside - I hear the graphics are great

What is your take though on my comments about the gameplay not changing as the engine is the same?
Plus I think we can all agree on the news article being a little silly saying FO4 "Looks great"

OK so we can all agree, it doesn't look (so far) grade A, but this is only a teaser trailer... bitchin and whining like a bunch of console kiddies isn't good for us. What we can all agree on is that "we have Fall Out 4" confirmed.

Look at Skyrim when that first came out, Looked ok'ish but then *In a dark narrative voice* "The mods came" and some of those made the game look immense, I expect the same for F4
Oh Vault-Tec or Wraith I'm having trouble getting sound ingame, Fallout 3, I'm on Windows 8.1, Heard there were some compatibility issues, You know of any fixes please ? I wanna give this game a proper chance again

How do you mean trouble? are you not getting any sound at all? is it all stuttery?
There is a sound fix for GNR (the radio station) where you basically replace all of the compressed files with wavs and an ESP or whatever they are called. That fixes stuttering/garble.
I played around 13 hours recently on 8.1 and had no issues but I am running a Soundblaster Z so that may be why.

When games are more expensive than ever, you shouldn't have to rely on mods to get it up to scratch - that makes no sense and is letting the publisher get away with selling garbarge.

That's a really, really bad attitude to take - respect is a) earned, and b) if someone doesn't want to be constructive, they should be whipped into line because it makes for a bad forum community.

Don't want to debate or can't handle it, go post on twitter imho.But back top the topic, we can all agree that comparing a bad looking 7 year old game to a new game on the next gen of hardware isn't exactly a good comparison.
