Hey I noticed people saying they are getting better TPF with higher frequency RAM. I have 1600Mhz DDR3 In my system. I just wanted to confirm what I read.

I've found tighter timings to be better for me but at the same timings and higher frequency, you'll get a bit of a boost..imo.

You'll also see a bigger difference if you were running bidadv or bigbeta than if you are running just regular smp. I've found that triple channel vs dual channel also makes a difference.

sure,

It's basically bigadv for the FAH beta team. Which you can easily join at the folding forum.

it shouldn't be run by people who aren't in the beta team, but it can be done. The downsite to this is that there will not be support, nor will you help others if you can't report errors. The upside can be that you will receive greater points per WU (and thus PPD) earlier than others. But there is no guarantee for this.
