Hey, I have decided to go with the eyefinity setup and have picked three Samsung Lavendar p2250 monitors, Link below....

I am also looking for an ACTIVE displayport to DVI adapter so I can run it all of my 5850.

Could you maybe send me some links of some ACTIVE DISPLAY PORT TO DVI ADAPTERS please?

Thanks!

Kyle

Also with eyefinity spanned across all 3 your web pages and programs will do the same. I have 3 screens but only game on the centre one because of it.

AMD need to make EF aware of what programs you want to open across all 3, imho its a massive flaw atm.

Eyefinity will spread fullscreen apps across all displays, but usually if I'm using my browser etc, I will just not maximize it. I agree 100% though, there should be some more intelligence as to what gets maximized to fill all 3 displays. It would be nice if I could fullscreen a window and have it fill just one monitor. Shouldn't be too hard to get that in the drivers, but I'm not holding my breath. A small workaround is to use Windows 7 to resize the window to the top of the display, which will maximize the window vertically only.

As for the displayport to DVI adapter, I am in NA so not sure if these are available where you are, but I have used ACCELL single-link active adapters, dp to dvi for my 5870, mini-dp to dvi for the 6970. Flawless performance with either. Bear in mind, the single-link adapter is only good up to a (single monitor) resolution of 1920x1200. These adapters retail for about $40 in my store.
