Eyefinity issue

Hey peeps got a strange problem i can't seem to sort i have just bought an Astrotek active displayport to dvi adapter so i can run my three screens but when i plug it in it shuts down the other dvi ports on my graphics card, my screens and card are in my sig i just want my screens to work any help would be great thanks

What's weird is that if anything it should just allow you to run 2 and not 3 monitors if something is not set up properly in the software.

I'd hazard a guess that the adapter is dodgy. I've personally never heard of Astrotek.

Thanks SPS it will only allow 2 monitors but no matter what configuration i try it wont do three
