Just a random question and food for thought. I wonder has anyone ever had any luck using a DVI Dummy Plug (used normally for bitcoin mining) to help center a dual infinity display to one monitor. Lets use my current setup as an example. Right now lets say I only have 2 1080p monitors. One center , and one on my left. My tower is current where normally my 3rd monitor would be due to space issues. so say I wanted to use the 2nd display as my normal main/center display and just have my horizontal distance expanded on the left one. Normally if I setup eyefinity on 2 screens your character or crosshair is mid bezel. But if a Dummy plug could make the card see a extra 1080p display and expand the screen as it normally would, that would be a temporary solution, mind you I think it would still stress your video card equally as much as 3 displays would.
Anyone every try it?
