External Drives

I was thinking of opening my external drives (two MyBooks) to put inside my rig. I don't need portable storage and there is ample room and cooling in the HAFX to store them.

How can I open the enclosures? Does anyone have a step by step guide? Also, is this a bad idea?

should be straight forward remove screws take halves apart whalla hdd I heard that some of those external drives hold WD Blacks in them good luck

Couldn't get the shell off for the life of me. Practically snapped it apart... anyways... [sarcasm]LUCKY ME[/sarcasm] there's an ancient caviar green drive in there.
