Now that's one sexy motherboard very stylish no god awful RGB lights on the motherboard.

IMO EVGA makes the best looking Z170 & X99 motherboards.

MSI, take note.

Agreed, The MSI motherboards just like god awful for this gen even Gigabyte too, IMO EVGA has nailed it for this Gen motherboards and second would be ASUS ROG series they rest of them aren't even close.

Also there is no other motherboard company puts a speaker on there motherboards that's old school right there.

At this rate I might have to drop my vendetta I have against EVGA and pick up one of their motherboards. They're the only ones who're keeping it clean (excluding ASUS WS 'boards).

Agreed, But why is there so much dislike of this forum towards EVGA, I know EVGA has or did have heat with Tom over the SR-X motherboard but Tom was right about the CMOS battery placement tho.

Other than their customer support telling me untrue facts once and making me lose my warranty over a vbios update that didn't even fix my issue, EVGA stuff has always been solid to me.

I'm on my third GPU now.

Yes companies can change there ways.

Because they've traditionally been overpriced for no reason. Atleast that is how it has seemed recently.

Personally I've never had a good 'card from EVGA. I went through a lot of faulty GTS 450s and it was pretty evident I was being taken for a ride or they were incredibly incompetent.

Well i have never had a problem with a EVGA product i had issues with other companies, Plus EVGA is not over priced over compare to other companies, TBH i now there is only 2 companies i trust when it comes to parts like Motherboards & GPU's EVGA & ASUS.

Most of the time you're paying 30-40 extra (or more for a 'superclocked' card) on a EVGA reference cooler card over everyone else, including asus.

Don't get me started on the mediocrity that is the ACX cooler either.

That might be where you are, Here there all around the same price.

i r8 8/8 no db8 m8.

Seems to make a lot of sense to me, the looks of the original Z170 Classified without the insane PLX madness (for which you should just buy X99 if you need the lanes). No doubt EVGA have the dankest swag in the industry and it's completely understandable why they do and why they can charge a premium for it in my opinion, it even makes ASUS come across as childish. Apart from the shady original ACX aspect i've loved all of my cards and the Z97 Stinger. I hope they carry on doing exactly what they are doing and i'd love to see them move into mATX with Z170 and see some X99 refresh boards with this current styling.

100% agree

I've only ever had two EVGA boards. I had the 680i (nightmare at first, brilliant later on) and the 790 Ultra SLI (had it very late in its life but again, started out terrible bios updates made it shine).

I do like how they look but the prices were always ridiculous. Mostly because we get fleeced in the EU and that didn't really help matters. Why would I pay £150 more for a board with a quirky bios?

Lately though they have made a few boards that I really rather like (looks). And I would imagine their bios are now better than they used to be.

You'd still have a tough time talking me out of buying Asus though.

Fleeced, how do you think we feel here dude.

I doubt I would buy EVGA there either.

EVGA are a great company, if you live in the USA. They constantly have B stock items on sale for pennies. I got a B stock GTX 295 for $90 when they were still fetching £250+ on Ebay over here. I've also had a couple of motherboards for $40.

Thankfully I have a few mates out in the USA who will buy/forward on for me.

In the UK? well recently they announced that they were going to have a UK based RMA so I suppose that's nice. It saves on spending £25 to send something back to Germany at least.

The problem for me is that I usually like the look of their high end boards with the ridiculous prices. So I usually always end up going elsewhere.

To me, No difference to any other company like ASUS, Gigabyte & MSI all ridiculous prices for the high end.
