Im sure we have all seen the Overclock3D review on the ASUS Dual CPU motherboard - any ideas when we may see a similar review for the EVGA SR-X?

Cheers

(PS - Mainly because I can't decide between the two

A recent Q&A introduction video that Tom done had a SRX in the background, so we should get a review soon hopefully

I believe he said in the video that he had 2 sets of CPU's to try with different graphics card combos including a 7970 and a pair of EVGA GTX690's I believe he said don't expect the review this week, towards to end of next week he mentioned I think due to the amount of testing he was doing. Hope this helps.

WOW - Next week or two would be perfect timing for me

Cant wait ..... one step closer.

The main differences I see are:
  1. ASUS = supports more RAM officially (KVR1333D3D4R9S/16GEA) - however some say SR-X supports 192 and since there is no way we can do 256 at the moment the SR-X probably wins here?
  2. ASUS with 4GPUs is all 16 at x8 speeds - EVGA 2x16 and 2x8 speeds
  3. ASUS supports more SAT 6bs - but is the miniSAS (when made into 4SATA 6bs?)
  4. ASUS has outputs which may get blocked if you put in 4GPUs that take the height of 2 slots (thoughs on this guys?)
  5. ASUS board is smaller

Anything else you guys can think of?

And if anyone can help answer any of the above

Cheers

PS - A concern I have is that the USB78 and USB910 ports would be blocked by the fourth GPU - http://dlcdnet.asus...._Z9PE-D8_WS.pdf see page 27 of 226.
