EVGA reveal their GTX 1080 Ti KINGPIN edition

Guaranteed manual overclock of 2025mhz on air, EVGA are going to have to do better than that.

All 15 of my Pascal cards on air can manage 2025mhz lol.

Some more pics of the card.

I agree. 2025mhz isn't enough to tempt me this time. Evga will probably bin a load of cards and sell them off like the gtx 980ti kingpin.

Kaapstad what's the best overclockers you have in your cards? Do you have any that are clearing 2125mhz stable

Probably my watercooled Titans, they can sometimes reach 2126mhz depending on what they are running.

That's it we need an intervention, We need to set you up with a woman ASAP ! ^_^

You mean: Well some buy sportscars, Kaapstad buys graphics cards
I'm fairly new. But i'm under the impression that it's not just GFX'es. Also CPU's and stuff :D
And what i meant was that yes he buys for a lot of €$£
But one fairly new Porsche or similar cost more than the hardware combined ;)
(Not that there is anything wrong with that, i wish i had that kind of money  )

Looks like EVGA are not really offering much with this Kingpin, all they look to be doing is taking advantage of the brand for a few sales.

There is no mention of a Classified Edition so I think EVGA will just use the Kingpin to cover that part of the market.

There are only 2 x 8 pin power connectors on the card so I don't think this is going to be a crazy out and out LN2 benching card.

We will know more when we see the pricing of the card as to where it falls in the market. With the old 980 Ti Kingpin you could pay £950 for the top ASIC 80+ version but I don't think we will see anything that extreme this time around with the 1080 Ti version.

Power connectors at the back. Where they should be for ever. Who was the guy that put them at the top, and why did all manufacturers went with that stupid idea. Thank you EVGA. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Please let this become standard.

Someone heard you Tom on your 1080 STRIX review.
