EVGA Hadron Chassis

Yep evga now make cases, I wonder if this will make other 'card/board manufacturers build their own cases? I dread to think of the xfx one if they do...

Anyway, its a neat little design in my opinion :D, comes with its own custom 500w gold rated power supply and will be available in two versions, air and hydro (designed for custom loops). The main feature however is its size, 6.6inches wide,12 inches tall and 12 inches deep.

What do you guys think of it?

Looks like a mix between an acer aspire tower and a bit fenix prodigy with evgas style added. Looks alright but it looks like it has poor ventilation. Good to see a case with a decent built in psu though :D

well, nothing too special, but the hydro version looks interesting.

not sure if i like the connectors on the back, could make the insides either very tidy or really messed up.

I like it, the GPU looks a little to close to the bottom of the case. Could be a bad thing for air flow, it would also be sucking dust from the bottom if it's vented.

Need to see more pictures of the guts.

The built-in PSU is in the bottom of the case as well though:

Built in PSU? No thanks. Shame because it looks quite nice to me, sleek black, big window, there's a few things going for it.

Ergonomics like the PSU and GPU being close can't be good but I suppose in MITX form it is to be expected somewhat.

I'm with SeekaX, the hydro version looks much nicer.

That rather nice, I think they should sell it without the PSU though. Hopefully its not specifically made for it.

EDIT: Definitely agree with you guys on the Card clearance, way too tight.

It does look pretty sleek and I love the gloss front but I worry it'd just be way too small for most people (I know it would be for me), and I'm not sure about them including a PSU too, I'd rather have the choice of which PSU I wanted to put in, it is a custom built PC after all.

Despite the card being very close to the bottom (just get it w\c anyway :P ), I think they've done it nicely so that you can see it perfectly just at the bottom of the window

I must say its a nice looking case.
I would prefer if it had a higher wattage psu though.

I really doubt this will be sold in large numbers. I'm guessing it'll cost around the same price as the 350D or higher. Personally I'd still go for the 350D as it looks much better in my eyes.

Is it me just being slow or would you not be able to fit most AIO water coolers (such as the h80i) in the air version of the case?

-edit- as you'll only really be able to go intel/nvidia(although I'd love to go for an AMD card in this build, just to mess with people ;D) the power supply would probably be fine as it'll be outputting somewhere around 490w as long as you didn't go for a 690 and 4770k with a Maximus VI gene as that is apparently 500w (according to pc part picker).

When seen from afar it looks suspiciously like EVGA Hardon, I wouldn't want that in my sig, I may be slightly fanboy but that's too far.

The integrated PSU is always going to divide opinion, even if its epic it can't be for everyone. I like the idea of it accepting the Panasonic slot load drive though, it wouldn't be too hard for all cases to do that with a special little bay at the top of the 5.25" drives. Weird how there are no internal pics.
