Wonder what the temps would be on this? With a custom loop then it would for sure beat the 295x2 temps.... ;) But for what price? What would the EXTRA premium for the hydro copper?

Why would you put a cover on the block if you can still see what was supposed to be covered up because of the logo?
Bleh.

I read somewhere this week that the price is going to be ~$3400.

Still way to much, you could buy two 295x2, two blocks for them, a couple of radiators, Res, pump, tubing, fittings and coolant and still have ~$800+ left :D

That is absurd...

Ohhh and WHY oooooh WHY do EVHA put their *nicer* logo at the BOTTOM of the card and not on the back plate?

Even so - with a double GPU what temps doyou think it will achieve??

With a 240 rad as a reference then what are we looking at? 50c?? 55c??

That looks like acrylic á lá XSPC syle....

I don't think a 240 would be enough, you could use one but you would need to have your fans spinning fast and temps wouldn't be to good, especially if you had your CPU in the loop as well.

If you had a 360 and a 240, which should be enough, then i'd say temps would be ~50*c.

Someone at Nvidia is on crack, Why the hell would you bring out a card that is 1/3 more expensive than 2 Titan Blacks and has less performance and base/boost clocks etc...???

Nvidia need to stop hiring people from special needs schools.

To be fair the 295x2 is 1/3 more expensive than two 290x as well. Dual GPU cards are always stupidly expensive.
Someone's buying it, else they would've killed the Titan stuff after the first one.

True but it's the price difference I find retarded.

2 x 290X = £359.99p Each so £719.99p in Total
1 x 295X2 = £1099.99p so thats a £380 increase for the custom PCB, Water block and radiator which isn't all that bad.

2 x Titan Blacks £739.99p each so £1479.99p in Total.
1 x Titan Z costs £2399.99p so thats a £920 difference just for the custom PCB and 1 fan, That just spells pure greed.

See my point ?

If it was like the AMD product and they just added £300'ish to it for the price of the water blocks, Pump, Rad etc... it wouldn't be so bad but £920 is stupid.

It's both pure greed. I'm never going to buy a dual GPU card so i don't care what price tag they put on it.
I'm not hoping for integrity and social values from companies.

I actually quite like the look of the transparent logo, so you can see the heatsinks. Honestly, this is really the way the titan z is meant to be cooled, but it is still not justified by the price.

as much as we think paying more for 2 cards wedged together you've also got to remember they are using half the space for the same/similar/slightly less performance... people forget that.

Hydro coppers are always hella expensive, i've had to 580's for forever so I know the pain of them

interesting that they've switched away from swiftech and to EK now for the block

This is CRAZY! Is there anyone on this forum thats going to buy the stock or aftermarket titan z?

The thing is that I am sure some one will try and fit the Titan Z Hydro into a mini itx build. That is why I am wondering about possible temps with a 240 rad and maybe a 120 rad.

You could use a glacer 240l and add another 120 rad for that mini itx cpu and gpu loop.

All know that any DUAL gpu like the 690 etc etc were and are stupidly expensive but they are (like Sub said) using half the space.

Even so.... to ask for SUCH a price premium is just absurd..... when the 690 came out and asking 1000+ then people were like *WOW... DAMN...* - and the same for the Titan. STILL.... people went out and bought 2-3 Titans for SLI..

I just think asking this kind of money for the Titan Z is just taking it to a whole new level. Nvida says its a working card that can be used for gaming - but WTF - if they release the Hydro Copper then THAT is for gaming!

oh oh I know why they are releasing this GPU for and extra 1/3 of the cost. its cause the people that buy this card are really buying it for bragging rights and looks (nvidia branding). Looked at the first photo and was like mm looks like a really nice card so slim.. sexy..., wheres the piano finish!! then saw the backplate and my theory fell apart cause that backplate looks extremely ugly.

after a while though my theory seemed to rebuild itself, there was an nvidia logo on the backplate, thats why it is so appealing.

@ YT vid: I see, buy two lose one free so 3 titans = $3600, titan z = 2+1 thats why the price tag is $3400 a $200 savings. What a bargain. Wait somethings fishy here... wait ever mind it must just my calculations.

Also wouldnt a 295x2 be about $2000 with an additional waterblock, so 2x $2000 is $4000 last time I checked.

please do not take any of the above seriously, just really stir crazy right now
