ive been looking around to see if i can get another so i canrun them in SLI, however im finding it hard getting places that stock it, was this card a limited number available or have they stopped making them?

any help would be appreciated

If it was me, I'd have a look at eBay or maybe gumtree and see if anyone selling a used one, probably you're only shot TBH ~

If you can't find them new, go second hand. I am sure you will find one on ebay. Mine is 5 years old and I can still find a bunch of them just like it on ebay.

^^What he said.

With SLI, it's only important to have the same GPU, so it's fine if the actual card is different. You just need to make sure that they are both clocked at the same frequencies and it'll be fine. The seems to be one available at overclockers.

ive got two spare heatsink and fan shrouds for the 448 "red stripe" from a build
9 months ago... was a deffo nightmare to watercool those cards.. they seemed to
have a warm streak like the ivey platform, so high "controlable" just that notch higher
and cooking bacon with 'em.. but its sorted and client is toodles and happy.

correct me if im wrong, but isnt the 448 edition card just a down-clocked 570?, if this is the case then in theory you should be able to sli with a 570, don't quote me on this though im going out on a whim here

correct, the 448 build used two 570 GPU blocks...

dunna know about SLI feature. the 448 is powerful to 570 specs, but short
in some regards to GFLOPS, CUDA cores and other criteria. same GPU core.
but i wouldnt pair them together with a strap and expect smooth sailing.

i think it was a binned 570 that couldn't cut the bar without BIOS tweaking.
it scores pretty well over a stock 570 but not a dup 570 for SLI.
