Thats a good clock but that Linx run is not showing its fully stable. Only AVX enabled linx does this. Your Gflops show your not using AVX instructions it should be over 100gflops. Windows 7 SP1 and the latest Linx library will show you true Linx stability.

5g !

Before I packed my bench stuff away (again) I was pushing some c2ds to try and get 5g. Think the closest I got was a E8400 to 4.8 or summit.

Dropped to 4.7ghz and run that AVX Linx and getting 113 gflops and temps are low 60's think this will do. Reckon its worth upgrading this at all ?. Thinking about 3820 or an IVY but not sure if upgrade is worth it only dfo a few blu ray encoding and games.
