enermax tb silencer

I've been looking for some ultra silent fans ie sub 15db and i saw the enermax tb silencer 11db max and £7 is it just optimistic or "tweaked results" does it have coil whine but huge cfm's aren't a massive concern for me and noctua's are out of my price range.
any suggestions on alternatives?
any body own any of these fans?

I have 5 of the TB Silence fans and like them. They are not 11 dB but they are not loud either. These fans do not work well on a high fpi rad but work very well as case fans and they worked well on my EX240 rad.

I used to have some and they were great, quiet but not silent (don't get the impression they are loud, they are far from it). When the original Bitfenix Spectres were released I purchased a few of them and was amazed! They shifted just as much air if not more, but were inaudible at 12v compared to the Enermax fans. If it was my money I would look at the Bitfenix Spectres not the pro fans as they are much noisier than the Enermax fans and the original Spectres.

You could also look at the Corsair Fans they come in twin packs to reduce the cost, maybe nearer your budget, but I have heard great things regarding these fans, I am going to be getting myself some in the near future.

Hope this helps. :)

this might not be all the way on topic but, cant you better have 10 ( or something ) fans running quiet then 3 fans run loud,

1 fan running quiet at 20 db ( example ) and then x 10 = 38 db total as that each fan only add's 2 extra db

and when you have 3 fans loud at 50 db ( example aswell ) x 3 = 54 db?

think i remember this right from school, if you have 1 jet making 140 db and another jet comes in the together make 142 db?

and i think 10 slow fans move more air then 3 fast fans?
