Hey everyone!
Today i setup watercooling loop for a good clean up with some distilled water i finally found.
Not many good news tho. One of my laing 18w aint pumping anything to begin with. I feel the motor trying to do something, like it wants to start but its stuck, so i reopened it and cleaned up by hand, re-soldered the 3pin (ground-voltage-speedcontrol) wires and its still the same way, no idea why this pump aint going.
I have always been really proud of my psu cause so far its been the only thing which never caused me any problems.
When turned on (jumped) for the pumps to work, the led behind psu is green which is a good signal, everything smooth. However when i turn the switch off on the back of psu, the led goes red it usually did, but then i get two beeps, then two beeps, then two beeps, and so on.
Any ideas why? Could this be because power cable is plugged in and the psu is switched off through its main switch for on and off, but i still have a little paper clip jumped on the ATX connection?
Manual says for two short beeps:
RED LIGHT - TWO BEEPS INTERVAL:
1. Power supply abnormal, protection circuit activated.*
2. Connector Terminals are short-circuited.*
3. PG (Power Good) signal abnormal
4. System loading lower than PSU minimum output load requirement.**
Is this happening cause i only have two pumps connected through the fan controller, which is connected through the 4p molex? Would this have anything to do with the (4th) point?
Or is it beeping cause when i dont need it on anymore and use the switch behing to power off then it starts beeping cause its still jumped?
Or could it be cause its trashed? I hope not cause this psu was absolutely fine before hands, and i have never used it like that just to power the pumps for a cleanup on the loops, i always used other spare psu's for that, so i never heard those beeps before.
Anyone has any idea why laing pump is kind of having a heart attack? cause i can feel on my hands the pump trying to do something but no water moves on the loop.
Thanks already in big advance to all.
*** Could it be because here in Brazil is 220v and UK was 240v?
****remember that led for psu status on the back is green when jumped and seems to be alright cause there arent any beeps. The beeps only start when i use the switch at the back to power off.
