Elonex laptop DVD-RW drive

I've been given the task of finding a DVD-RW drive to fit an Elonex laptop by a friend. Do any of you guys know where i could possibly get one?

It looks like the drive might be generic with a few bit of Elonex plastic screwed on, but I'm no expert when it comes to lappies.

The easiest place would be the manufacturer I think, that looks like a standard shaped drive. The main problem is normally the bezel piece.

Looks like a standard TEAC drive - just get a replacement from KustomPCs

there used to be a company called 'eddis" in the leicester city council which looked after all the primary schools ict needs. they provided elonex equipment. I've yet to find a decent one. May be because of 'eddis' mind you.

There may be an adapter on the back of the drive that will need swapping over.

Any slim lappy drive will work, u just have to screw the lappys plastic connector bracket on to the new drive. Lappy drives are all generic, they just have custom brackets for all the different models. Unless of course we're talking about slot-load pwnage *cough* MBP *cough*
