Hey guys and girls ...
Are any of you lot playing the Elite Dangerous beta? I know it doesn't go live until 29th July but there are single player missions available to play now (if you're willing to pay £50 for early access to the beta).
Is it any good? Vids of it on youtube look great but I'm wondering how complex it is to play. Can it be played effectively with an Xbox 360 controller? I have no option of sitting at a desk to use my rig so joysticks are a no and mouse and keyboard is a pita .. 360 controller is my only real world option currently
I loved playing the original Elite many many years ago on a C64 .. never played any of the sequels .. Just trying to decide if I should shell out 50 notes for the game right now :/
