Well you don't necessarily have to get a PC&P, I hear the Silverstones are good and relatively easy to find. OCZ GXS 700W is a very nice PSU I believe...

I'd say get either a PCP&C, Enermax Galaxy, OCZ GameXtream, Silverstone Zeus, Etasis or a Zippy Unit. 600-850w is more than sufficient

ok really like the look of the 1000w pro x stream apart from it only being a 80mm fan the galaxy is great but very long and i want to put the rad on top also the thermaltake has great reviews

also with the pa 120.3 i will need some reducers to go from 3/8's bsp to g1/4 to fit the barbs where would i get them looked in all the usual places but no luck can you help ?

Have you tried looking for Aquaextreme 3/8" BSPP, 1/2" OD barbs? Petra's has them, not sure about UK dealers...

You can pick these up at most B&Q, Plumbase, RS, Wickes, etc. BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) thread is the standard thread used on most plumbing installations in the UK.

I have some brass 3/8" hose tails (barbs) here if you need me to send you some. If you're still keen on using the smaller G1/4" thread I have 3/8" to 1/4" brass reducers too. Drop me a pm if you're interested :hands: .

Yeah, BSPP should be the standard in England. Over here in the US, chances are if you mention BSPP you'll get a "wtf??????" from a plumber.

SilenX fans are closer to 30 something db, thermaltakes are closer to 28 db...

Both are

fans.

Get some yate loons, sharkoons, papst, or silverstone fm121s.

SilenX is ridiculous when it comes to their Dba ratings. The actual sound output is way more then what they list them as.

They probobally test them from 5 meters away or something.
