According to the 8-34% performance comparison to the GTX280, it`d have to be around the same or better than the 4870x2 ! According to this trusted review stats: http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews.php?/gpu_displays/xfx_280gtx_xxx_edition/7

hehe don`t see the market for it with the 4870x2 about, but if there`s a gap, I`m sure it`ll fill it.
