I want to overclock my e7300 on a stock cooler to 3.0 ghz, the only way i can is by putting the FSB to 1200. Its works fine and i didnt even touch voltages, but is it good to overclock fsb? idk im new to the overclocking thing.

my mobo is ASUS p5n7a-vm(i think its pretty much the 730i)

Make sure you're temps are ok first... download realtemps to check temps while you run prime95 to max out you're CPU...

To plain ans simple answer your question. Yes, raising the FSB is the best way to overclock a CPU.
