E5-2687W v2 vs E5-2697 v2

Hi guys,

So with the Ivy Bridge E5-2600 family Xeon's Intel introduced the E5-2697 v2.

I was wandering what you guys thought would be the better/faster/etc CPU the 2687W v2 or the 2697 v2.

Previously the 2687w v1 was the better CPU from the v1 range, and I can find list of 2687w v1 to 2697 v2 benchmarks but not 2687w v2 to 2697 v2.

Hope you guys can help me out.

12 cores / 24 threads
2.7GHz Clock Speed / 3.5GHz Turbo Speed

Just by looking at the specs the 2697 is easily the faster CPU, though i'm sure the program you are running won't see a much of a difference.

If money is not an issue go for the 2697
