Hello all,
Let me first describe the situation: I am using Windows Vista 32B, OCZ DDR2 1GHz RAM, Q9300@3GHz, XFX 9800GTX BE ( Custom OC), LG Flatron L1811S (secondary) and Philips 170C4 (primary) monitors. Both monitors only have VGA out, so I use DVI to VGA adaptors (brand: XFX)for plugging them into my gpu.
Issue: When I connect a monitor to the second DVI-out on the GPU, it appears that the red channel is disabled, no matter which adaptor or monitor I connected to it. The first DVI port doesn't turn the channels off. When I connect a DVI monitor on the other hand, the second DVI port works just fine, and all channels are operational...
Is it the graphics card? Well, wouldn't the DVI port then fail even without adaptor? Is it the adaptor, maybe?
Can one of you guys there help me out?
Thanks!
Maurits
