i keep gettin dust cloging up my HSF and i have to take it out daily, and blow it to get thick clumps and wads of dust out of it, any help would be aprechiated on how to stop it lol

get some fan filters and set up your airflow in the case to have air moving out of it aswell as in, place fan filters on the intake fans only

i have a fan on the side of my case, blowing in, then the hsf blowing towards the back and an exaust on the back, with the power unit as an exaust at the top...

Fan filters are your best guard against dust, but dust in your case is inevitable, it's gonna get in no matter what. Some good fan filters will slow the rate that it gets in however and prolong your cleaning sessions.

I accidentally bought the wrong size filters when I ordered my rad fans a long time ago and havent bothered to get the right ones yet, u should see my rad, u cant even see through the fins its got so much dust in it, lol.

I reccomend cleaning your house...

I was just about to say that. :) I usually only have to clean out my PC from dust (though there's not much in there, even with a side intake fan) every month, not even.

D'oh! I should have ordered some with my vid card and waterblock.... Grrr... I'm gonna have it all apart anyhow, it would have been a good chance to take off my top fans and vacuum the dust out of my damn radiator. Blasted!

compressed air with blast that shit out of there no problem, put it along side of the heatsink and shoot it in, it will fly all over :D

not everyone has a compressor to make use of compressed air

Also consider just using drier sheets as a ghetto filter (Bounce, Downey, etc). Put them in front of your intake fans.

Keeps the dust out and makes your computer smell nice and fresh! :D
