There IS a TL;DR
I recently posted my current system on the forums and spoke of me wanting to migrate to a different case to expand my loop's performance. I think I have settled on the Define S but I had some concerns regarding the loop order. Now I know that traditionally you should go res -> pump and the rest doesn't matter but in my case, I want to keep the H220-X in the loop. The idea is to have rear and front intakes (H220-X in front) a 360mm rad on exhaust in the top and my loop would go in order of what looks best.
My concern arises from the fact that I am using two different kinds of pump and the order at one point would be H220-X (rad/res/pump) --> res --> D5. I don't know why, but I have it in my head that this would have a negative impact on performance.
Alternatively, I could swap the H220-X and 360 rad locations and then the order would end up being H220-X --> 360 --> res --> D5 which seems like it wouldn't suffer as drastic a hit in performance.
TL;DR:
This is mostly a sanity check. I have two different pumps and I want to know if loop order matters because of this. I might just be WAY overthinking this. If I am, please tell me
Thank you, all advice appreciated
