Hi

I wonder if everbody know anything about how I can squeez out a bit more of my pair Opteron 270`s. They run on 2GHz in a Supermicro mobo and i cant afford to buy a new pair of 285-290 (from £200) so if you have any idea or experience please feel free to share.. I know that they not really overclockable specialy if they are in pairs but i would love to give a try..

Thanks

Tamas

Its a Supermicro H8DCE, and i have 4x2Gb DDR400(PC3200) ECC RAM. I did not try to change my settings in the BIOS yes, I thought somebody might have some experience with a similar setup.

Thanks

It has an Nforce chipset.. so it might have overclocking options in the bios.

Have a look for CPU settings and stuff. :)

I checked the bios but nothing useful. It looks like as the processor speed is recognised by the system and I can't change it. Strangely i just read the manual and it does not say anything about FSB or processor speed..

Annoying.

its a server motherboard, they dont usually have overclocking options... well the ones i've seen havent.
