Dual CPU Boards

I Think this is the correct place to post this sorry if its not.

i was just thinking with dual CPU boards like the SR-2 and SR-X is the Memory shared across both CPU's or does each CPU have its own ram

Pretty sure each cpu has its own RAM and they go to the memory controllers on each CPU and since the CPU co-communicate with each other it acts as one. Not sure if this is the case maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
